School councillors for term 4:)

Our school councillors for term 4 are Rosemary and Lachlan. They got the most votes. First we had speeches and then we had a vote. Lachlan's speech was first and Rosemary's speech was third after Joel's speech.

Tessa's Mum and Dad's Book

Tessa's Mum and Dad made a book with John Kirwan. It looked awesome. It was about helping people though tough times. John  Kirwan  had dinner with their family. Tessa said it was great.

Football Skill's Day

Kotuku went to a football skills day at the Memorial park. It was such a hot day. The game we liked was called 'hospital', there are 2-3 taggers. If the a tagger tags you, have to put one arm behind your back. If you get tagged another time, you put the other hand behind your back. Then when you get tagged again, you hop on one leg. Then if tagged again, you crawl on your knees. But when tagged once again you're dead. Another game we played was stuck in the mud. There were two taggers, if you get tagged you have to stay still until you get saved. To save someone you have to crawl under their legs.

Tom was one of the coaches, he taught us stuck in the mud. Tom's nick name is 'The Machine'. We all saw the 2015 Under 20's cup. It was shiny. There were free sausages too. 

At the end of the day everyone was sweating.
