Aboriginal Culture
In Kotuku class we read a book about a girl who was half Aborigine and half white. One day she got stolen by the Chief Protector and taken to a children's home and she lost some stuff from her culture. Some things that she lost were fishing and swimming in a stream, sitting by a fire and her dress that her mum made for her. One day she woke up before anyone else and went up and got the key then she took her first steps towords home.

Zoo Trip

At the zoo we listened to the tiger talk.
We learnt that the tiger had something wrong with his throat. The tube that goes down to his tummy is a bit blocked so he has two have small cut up meat about the size of a parents hand. There was another tiger coming in a week.
